SBCL RPMs now available on Sourceforge
William Newman graciously gave me access to Sourceforge to be able to upload the SBCL RPMs I recently built. The latest version is sbcl-0.8.18-3.i386.rpm. The latest build enables threads and futexes.
Enjoy!
Comments:
I wonder if you could contact the folks at "freshrpms.net" to add the rpm to their repository? If you did, people could "yum install sbcl" or "apt-get install sbcl" to their Fedora systems.
Most fedora users eventually add Freshrpms to their respository list if only to get the multi-media add ons, so it seems a good place.
I think the Fedora folks are in the process of creating an Extras but it's not full cooked yet (last I heard, since these days I've switced to Ubuntu).
Thanks!
